Interactive sounding object (2016).
Terra Bruciata is an interactive sound object. It recall a small shrub in which the movement of the branches produces sounds. It is the small version of the installation Le corde dell'Anima. The change of scale has been made with the intention of creating an object that can easily find a place on a table while maintaining the original idea and operation of the installation.
The motion sensors placed on the branches of the treelike structure activate real-time sound synthesis modules implemented using an algorithmic composition program running on a Raspberry Pi.
